Clinton Prairie was privileged to host Indiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Loretta Rush on Monday, September 8, 2025. As part of her school visits for Constitution Day, Mr. Matt Scott, who teaches Government, was able to secure her visit to speak with our senior class. Chief Justice Rush related her personal history and how she came to be the first female Chief Justice for the Indiana Supreme Court. She shared information on past cases and how the Constitution was applied. Chief Justice Rush also provided scenarios for students and allowed them the opportunity to determine how the Constitution would apply in those scenarios. Chief Justice Rush's visit wrapped up with a short question and answer session with students.
